MAY I add a small correction to Sir Denis Forman's excellent obituary of John Taylor (19 September)? writes John Trumper. Britten's Instruments of the Orchestra was not filmed during John Taylor's regime at Beaconsfield, but when the Crown Film Unit was still based at Pinewood Studios under the producership of Alexander Shaw.
