Oliver Hailey, playwright and television scriptwriter, died Los Angeles 23 January, aged 60. Television credits include episodes of McMillan and Wife and The Cosby Show. A made-for-television movie Sidney Shorr, on which the series Love Sydney was based, brought him an Emmy nomination and a Writers Guild award.
