Rudolf Hrusinsky, actor and theatre director, died Prague 13 April, aged 73. Starred in the two-part film adaptation of Jaroslav Hasek's novel The Good Soldier Svejk, entitled Humbly Report (1957). He was for two years a member of the Czechoslovak parliament after the 'velvet revolution' toppled the Communist government in 1989, and returned to theatre directing in 1992.
