Sheenah Smith, art historian, died 24 September, aged 51. Deputy Keeper of Art at Glasgow City Art Galleries 1983-92, her research led to many exhibitions including 'The Early View of Scotland' (1983) and an exhibtion of the painter Horatio McCulloch's work (1988).
