Teok Carrasco, Cuban painter, died Miami 28 December, aged 77. Self-taught, he painted religious scenes and landscapes from an early age; at the age of 18 he was designing sets for the Calderon Theatre in Valladolid. Left Cuba in 1959 for the US. His works are on display in the White House and the Vatican.
