Zeno Colo, skier, died 12 May, aged 72. First Italian to win an Olympic Alpine skiing title when he took the downhill gold at the 1952 Oslo Winter Games. Renowned for his courage, he was also winner of the downhill and giant slalom world championships in Aspen in 1950.
