Piers Morgan mocked by British Airways after he jokes about being more famous than his co-passenger Brad Pitt
'This settles my celebrity status once and for all,' says Morgan

Piers Morgan has been mocked by British Airways after he joked he was more of a “celebrity” than Brad Pitt.
The controversial columnist, who is the US editor-at-large for MailOnline and a presenter on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, found himself on a flight from Cannes to London with Pitt.
After discovering he was placed in seat “1A” while Pitt was five rows back in “6F” he quipped that he was in a better rank of seat and therefore of greater importance to Pitt.
“So Brad Pitt just got on my @British_Airways plane to London. He's in seat 6F, I'm in 1A. This settles my celebrity status once and for all,” he wrote on Twitter.
To the amusement of Twitter users, British Airways responded by poking fun at Morgan.
“Ooops, seems like we made a mistake there, Piers! Any chance you could swap with him?” the airline tweeted.
BA later added that they were only joking.
The flight also included Anna Wintour and Stoke City footballer Jack Butland who Morgan joked was fittingly seated towards the back.
