James Deen labels Stoya rape allegations ‘false and defamatory’ as adult actress Tori Lux also accuses him of assault
Adult actress Stoya accused Deen of rape on Twitter, while Tori Lux has since claimed he ‘ruthlessly attacked and degraded me’

Adult film star James Deen has responded to accusations that he raped his former partner, the adult actress Stoya, calling the allegations “false and defamatory,” as a second actress has accused him of assault.
Stoya accused Deen of rape on Twitter on Saturday, writing in two separate messages: “That thing where you log in to the internet for a second and see people idolizing the guy who raped you as a feminist. That thing sucks.”

She then tweeted: “James Deen held me down and f***** me while I said no, stop, used my safeword. I just can’t nod and smile when people bring him up anymore.”
Following her allegations the hashtag #solidaritywithstoya began trending on Twitter, with people responding to her claims and retweeting them with messages of support. In addition, editor of The Frisky, Amelia McDonell-Parry, released a statement that Deen’s regular column in the publication would be axed.
Deen and Stoya are successful names in the adult film industry and in addition to having a relationship history had shared film scenes together. Stoya has since posted a message on Twitter and Instagram stating: “I’ll be mostly offline till 17 Dec. For work.”
Deen has addressed what he named as “egregious claims” by placing a statement on Twitter and Instagram.
Deen wrote: “There have been some egregious claims made against me on social media.
“I want to assure my friends, fans and colleagues that these claims are both false and defamatory.
“I respect women and I know and respect limits both professionally and privately.”
On Monday former adult performer Tori Lux alleged that Deen “ruthlessly attacked and degraded me,” in the Daily Beast.
She alleged that in 2011 on an adult film set Deen had grabbed her by the throat and shoved her on the floor.
She claims he then straddled her chest and pinned down her arms with his knees before “hitting me in the face and head with an open palm” five or six times, before “he grabbed me by my hair and shoved me to my knees, forcing my face into his crotch several times before shoving me to the floor”.
Deen has not responded for request for comment from The Independent regarding either allegation.
