In August 2005, OK Go's low-budget video for their single "A Million Ways"became the most downloaded music video of all time, with more than 9 million hits in its first year. They have had similar success with the "Here It Goes Again" video, which became a YouTube favourite and won a Grammy for Best Short-Form Music Video. They will be performing on Thursday at the Smirnoff Electric Cabaret at Camden's Koko.

Mixing. We're working on a collaborative EP with a New Orleans trombone funk band called Bonerama.

I wish that people would take notice of...

Where their food comes from. I've just read Michael Pollan's Omnivore's Dilemma and ... it's pretty hard not to be shocked and a little horrified. It's weird that we rarely know where our food has come from or what it's made of.

The most surprising thing that happened to me was...

The success of our treadmill video. We got a Grammy for a home-made YouTube clip, and now in the most remote reaches of the globe, people know us.

The ideal night out is ...

A night in. We just finished two and a half years of non-stop touring, so at the moment, all I really want to do is stay home and cook with my wife and play with my dogs.

In another life I'd have been ...

A scientist or a mathematician. I'd love to have worked on problems that actually have solutions. With songs, you're always floating in the world of the subjective.

In moments of weakness ...

I can't shut up

In a nutshell my philosophy is this:

You never get to the end points. The things you're shooting for will change by the time you get to them, so it's best to learn to enjoy the process.
