The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh hold a reception for Members of Parliament at Buckingham Palace. The Duke of Edinburgh visits Europa Aircraft Company, Kirkby Mills Industrial Estate, Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire. The Duke of York attends a lunch for the Shtandart Trust at the Locarno Suite, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, London SW1. The Princess Royal gives the opening plenary address at the 1999 National Fundraisers' Convention at Stakis Birmingham Metropole Hotel, National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, West Midlands; visits St Thomas' Junior and Infant School, Great Colmore Street, Birmingham, to meet Birmingham Family Support (an agency working with families in deprived and isolated parts of the city); as President, British Knitting and Clothing Export Council, visits Newey Goodman Limited, Sedgley Road West, Tipton, West Midlands; and opens the Neptune Health Park, Tipton.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am.
