The Prince of Wales visits Logan Botanic Garden and opens the Discovery Centre, at Port Logan, Wigtownshire, Scotland. The Princess Royal opens the Midland Metro at Wolverhampton St Georges Metro Terminus, Market Place, Wolverhampton, and attends a reception at the International Convention Centre, Centenary Square, Birmingham; and, as Patron, the Butler Trust, visits HM Prison Birmingham, Winson Green Road, Birmingham.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am.
