Royal Engagements
The Princess Royal attends the Home Office Policing and Reducing Crime Unit's Crime and Disorder in Partnership Conference at the Belfry, Wishaw, Warwickshire; as President, Save the Children Fund, attends a meeting of the Board of Trustees, Save the Children Headquarters, South Lambeth Road, London SW8; and, as Vice-Patron, the British Show Jumping Association, attends the 1999 Horse of the Year Show at Wembley Stadium, Wembley. The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, NADFAS (National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies), and The Duke of Gloucester spend a day at Blair Castle, Perthshire, to mark Nadfas Volunteers' Silver Jubilee.
Changing of the Guard
The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am.
