The Prince of Wales, Patron, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, opens the Breakthrough Research Centre at 237 Fulham Road, London SW3; and attends a Royal Gala performance of Cinderella, at Hackney Empire, London, E8. The Princess Royal, Patron, National Association of Victims Support Schemes, attends the Advisory Board Meeting at Church House, London SW1; as President, Royal Yachting Association, attends a Council Meeting at the Royal Thames Yacht Club, 60 Knightsbridge, London SW1; and, as President, Animal Health Trust, attends their Christmas Banquet at the Langham Hilton Hotel, London W1. Princess Alexandra, Chancellor, presides at ceremonies for the conferment of Higher and Honorary Degrees and Postgraduate Diplomas at Lancaster University.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; Nijmegen Company Grenadier Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Coldstream Guards.
