Royal Engagements

The Queen opens the Commonwealth Games in Victoria, British Columbia. The Princess Royal opens Peterhead Bay Harbour and Marina Project, Peterhead Bay Harbour, Aberdeenshire; and opens Peterhead Community Hospital, Peterhead.

Buckingham Palace

The State Apartments at Buckingham Palace open 9.30am-4.30pm. The Queen's Gallery opens 10am-5pm, and last admission is at 4.30pm. The Royal Mews opens 12pm-4pm, and last admission is at 3.30pm.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; F Company Scots Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Coldstream Guards.

Windsor Castle

The Precincts and State Apartments at Windsor Castle open 10am-6pm.
