The Duke of Gloucester opens the new Bolton District Probation Office, St Helen Mill, Bolton; visits the Gorse Hill Regeneration Area, Trafford; accompanied by the Duchess of Gloucester opens the refurbished Crown Courts, Minshull Street, Manchester, and as Patron, Heritage of London Trust Ltd, attends a reception to celebrate the Trust's 15th anniversary at Fishmongers' Hall, London EC4. The Duchess of Gloucester opens the new extension at Fairfield High School for Girls on the occasion of the School's bicentenary, Droylsden, and opens Canterbury House, the offices of the charities After Adoption and Advocacy Services for Children, Chapel Street, Salford.
Changing of the Guard
The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am.
