The Duchess of Gloucester opens the new extension at Fairfield High School for Girls on the occasion of the School's bicentenary, Droylsden, and opens Canterbury House, the offices of the charities After Adoption and Advocacy Services for Children, Chapel Street, Salford.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am.
