ROYAL ENGAGEMENTS

The Duke of York attends a Regatta Dinner given by the Royal Dorset Yacht Club, Weymouth, Dorset. The Princess Royal visits South Yorkshire Supertram System, Sheffield, South Yorkshire; as President, British Knitting and Clothing Export Council, visits Gash, Ball Street, Sheffield; and, as President, the Missions to Seamen, attends a Reception and Auction of Promises at the Orangery, Clifton, Bristol. Princess Margaret visits United Distillers' Cameronbridge Distillery, Windygates, Fife, and visits the Abbot House, Dunfermline. Prince Michael of Kent attends a memorial concert in memory of Simon Weinstock at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London WC2.
