The Queen visits the Summer Camp of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment at Thetford, Norfolk. The Prince of Wales, President, the Prince of Wales's Institute of Architecture, visits a construction project undertaken by foundation course students of the institute at Ewhurst, Surrey; visits the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, Singleton, Sussex, and opens the new Visitors' Centre, West Dean Gardens, and visits West Dean College, Chichester, Sussex.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; the Queen's Colour Squadron mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Coldstream Guards.
