The Prince of Wales visits the Central Office of Information, London SE1, on the occasion of its 50th anniversary; and as Patron, the Macmillan Nurse Appeal, attends a concert in aid of the Cancer Relief Macmillan Fund at the Royal Albert Hall, London SW7. The Princess Royal, Patron, the Butler Trust, presents the trust's annual awards at Buckingham Palace; and attends the Transaid Board Dinner, British Railways Board, London NW1. The Duke of Kent, Vice- Chairman, the British Overseas Trade Board, visits Munradtech Industries Generators Limited, Loughborough; visits Loughborough Second Images plc; and visits Virtuality Entertainment Ltd, Oswin House, Brailsford Industrial Park, Leicester. The Duchess of Kent opens the new Ripon By-pass, Ripon; opens the Ripon Leisure Centre; opens the new Headquarters of the North Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust, York; and as Patron, Choir School's Association, visits York Minster Choir School, Deangate, York.
