Sam Bailey has allegedly received death threats and been told to kill herself after responding to the Paris terror attacks by calling for Britain to close its borders.
The singer and former prison guard expressed her shock on Twitter after the massacre claimed by Isis that took 129 lives and injured 352 people.
“I think it’s time we shut our borders,” Bailey wrote. “It’s only a matter of time before this happens in England! Keep safe people and be vigilant.”

Her suggestion was branded “racist” and “ignorant” by furious Twitter users and re-shared by the far right group Britain First, who praised her in a post on its Facebook page. In a series of tweets deleted on Monday afternoon, Bailey detailed the alleged abuse squared at her after her comments.
“People need to pipe the f*** down!," she wrote. "Tweet deleted due to the amount of abuse I've received! I know what I meant and I apologise if people didn't! I Don't deserve threats though!
“Tonight I’ve been called, fat, ugly, bitch, told to kill myself and worse! Put on SkyNews! All because I said what lots are thinking! Prayers for France.
“Stop abusing me 4 having an opinion! Even if you think it was a shit one! Say a prayer for France! It could be us next unless something is done!”
Her defiance was met with more anger and Bailey found herself sympathising with Rob Lowe, who also provoked anger by commenting of France’s border control in the wake of the tragedy.
