Have you ever wondered if your life could be improved by a slam-poem dedicated to Boy Meets World (Scroll down to watch video)?

Well, Samuel L Jackson thankfully recited his theatrical ode to the 90s sitcom on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show.

Looking decidedly dramatic in his dark ensemble, cigarette in hand, the actor launches into a highly entertaining and bold performance in a tribute to end all others.

"Boy Meets World. Boy greets world," Jackson says emphatically. "Hello, world. I am Cory Matthews. Short and average, head full of curls, the year 1993. We see two boys who lack both brains and brawn..."

It gets better with shouts of "Topanga, Topanga, Topanga! Daughter of a hippy, name of a gypsy, Topanga!", followed by wild, angry gesticulating that defies his 65 years.

"One man’s trailer trash is another man’s treasure,” he continues. “Boy meets world, boy meet girl…"

The actor was on the show to promote his new film Captain America: The Winter Soldier, in which he co-stars alongside Scarlett Johansson.

If Jackson’s intense performance has made you feel nostalgic for Boy Meets World, fear not, for there is a spinoff show in the works, named Girls Meets World, which debuts this summer.

Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel will resume their starring roles as Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence.
