Tim Burton was taken to A&E after he was injured on the set of his latest film, Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiars, in Blackpool.
The director, 56, apparently hurt himself while on a break, before he was taken to the Victoria Hospital.
However, after a medical examination, the award-winning filmmaker was free to carry on with his filming schedule around Blackpool Tower.
“Tim attended hospital with a minor injury, no breakages,” his publicist confirmed.
Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiars is based on the novel of the same name by Ransom Riggs. Starring Samuel L. Jackson, its set to be released in 2016.
