Workers at Peugeot are expected to vote for industrial action today in a dispute over pay and conditions. The 3,000 employees at the French firm's Coventry factory have been balloted on a strike and other forms of industrial action.
The Transport and General Workers Union said the company wanted to change working hours to bring in longer shifts, earlier starts and later finishing times. Union officials say they are confident of a decisive vote for action when the ballot result is announced.
