Disappearance of the teenager Dawn Falconer nearly 17 years ago have dug up the remains of a young girl in the back garden of a house in Walsall, in the West Midlands. They hope dental records will now help to identify the skeleton.

A 53-year-old man who lived in the house, which was next door to where 16-year-old Dawn lived, has been charged with rape. But police stressed that the victim of this allegation was not Dawn Falconer.
