Police say open all hours

PUBS should be allowed to "open all hours", representatives of 120,000 police officers voted yesterday, adding to the pressure on the Government to reform the outdated licensing laws.

The extension of hours to allow pubs to open all day had not resulted in a rise in drunkenness, the Police Federation annual conference in Bournemouth was told.
