Lightning struck, and suddenly X-rated entertainment flashed onto hundreds of people's television screens. Engineers were working at the weekend to fix damage from the lightning on Friday night which disabled the equipment that normally scrambles the signal of TVX Fantasy Channel to stop non-subscribers watching adult films.
London-based Bell Cable Media said it had received a number of calls, mostly from people who wanted to make sure they were not being charged for the movies.
