Putin meets China president for trade talks to shut out West

Russian President Vladimir Putin has met with the Chinese president Xi Jinping for trade talks in Shanghai. The Kremlin hopes new trade and business deals with China will cancel out the impact of Western sanctions over the ongoing Ukraine crisis
