A HURRICANE the strength of the infamous Hurricane Mitch, which killed 25,000 and left more than two million homeless, will strike Central America again within three years, scientists warned yesterday.
The 1999 storm season, which officially starts on June 1, is likely to see more than the usual 10 Atlantic tropical storms and five to six hurricanes, the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said.
