AFTER A weekend of severe floods around the country,householders in Denby Dale, West Yorkshire, have their own private drought.

Surprised residents, amid torrential rain, found theirwater supply had dried up.Yorkshire Water said the problem lay with a service reservoir, half of which was closed for maintenance while a faulty indicator failed to register that the other half was empty.
