DELAYS TO services through the Channel Tunnel have been blamed on the wrong type of wind.
A spokeswoman for Eurotunnel said the problem on Tuesday had been caused because the direction of the prevailing high winds was south-westerly, and there were fears that the high-sided carriages could topple over as they turned round after emerging at Calais.
