THIS SUMMER'S total eclipse could be a washout for those who head west to view it, weather experts warned yesterday.
Plymouth, the largest English city where the total eclipse will be seen, is already making a contingency plan which involves installing a 60ft by 40ft outdoor movie screen which will show images of the eclipse beamed down by television crews aboard an RAF Hercules above the cloud base.
