GALE FORCE winds and a white-out in Australia yesterday forced the suspension of a search for four snowboarders missing in the country's south-eastern Snowy Mountains.
Emergency workers had found no sign of the four men who had spent five nights in the open. Police believe the snowboarders, all in their 20s, could have dug a snow cave, but may have been swept up in a snow-slip or small avalanche.
