VIETNAM'S WORST floods in 100 years have killed 357 people in the central coastal region. More rain is forecast and officials said several days of flooding have left huge numbers of people hungry in seven provinces that stretch for some 350 miles.
Reports yesterday said rain from a low-pressure system was on course to strike a large swath of Vietnam, including the central region and central highlands to the south.
