THE FREEZING weather sweeping across Europe claimed another 11 lives in Moscow yesterday.
The cold weather has killed 56 people in Moscow alone since mid-October. About 200 had to be treated in the city's hospitals for exposure. Most of the casualties are homeless or drinkers sleeping rough in temperatures now at minus 20 degrees Celsius (minus four Fahrenheit).
