TRAINS on the Penzance to Paddington line were delayed yesterday when a boat was blown off its moorings at Starcross, near Exeter, and ran aground with its mast across the track alongside the River Exe estuary.

Winds gusting to Force 10 blew down trees and a yacht was washed on to the harbour wall at Teignmouth.
