FREEZING WEATHER lasting more than two weeks has killed at least 66 people in Poland, well over the total who died from the cold last winter, police said yesterday.
Some 54 cold-related deaths were reported during the winter months last year but an Arctic cold front that hit Poland on 16 November has kept temperatures hovering at minus 12C (10F).
