A BOOK about the weather has become this year's essential Christmas stocking filler in Canada. The Ice Storm, which has sold almost 100,000 copies since it was published last month, charts the worst storm in Canada's history.
The storm, which hit last January, toppled more than 1,000 electricity pylons and affected three million people including 700,000 left without power for more than a month.
