Martin Bashir, the reporter who persuaded the Princess of Wales to reveal her marriage crisis to the nation, scooped two prizes at the Royal Television Society's Awards at the London Hilton last night. Mr Bashir won the Interview of the Year and Journalist of the Year trophies.
