Thousands of worried rural workers will be on the march at the weekend over fears about losing their jobs and homes under Labour's new anti-hunting laws. One march begins in Caldbeck in the Lake District today and the other from Coldstream in the Scottish borders tomorrow.
John Fretwell of the Union of Country Sports Workers said people feared for their jobs because the Labour Party was urban-orientated and did not understand the implications for thousands of people who earn a living from jobs linked to hunting.
