The families of the British nurses accused of murdering an Australian colleague in Saudi Arabia last night expressed surprise at reports of further details of their sentences.
The Daily Record newspaper quotes a Saudi source as saying Lucille McLauchlan, who was sentenced to eight years and 500 lashes for her part in the murder of Yvonne Gilford, will receive a four year sentence, and be spared the lashes. Deborah Parry, the newspaper reports, will also serve four years.
