GOOD news for farmers - bad news for rabbits. The Ministry of Agriculture has confirmed the spread of a swiftly lethal viral haemorrhagic disease to Britain's wild rabbits from farmed bunnies.

The illness, which kills within a couple of days, is widespread in Europe and there have been 24 outbreaks in Britain this year.
