Siamese birth

A woman in her thirties was reported to be due to give birth to Siamese twins who share the same liver at St Mary's hospital, in Manchester. A team of surgeons from Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children, London, was on standby to separate the girls, who are joined at the hip.
