Soldiers drop appeal in Cyprus

THREE BRITISH soldiers jailed for the killing of a Danish tour guide in Cyprus have dropped an appeal against their conviction. Justin Fowler, 30, Geoff Pernell, 27, and Allan Ford, 29, received life sentences for the abduction and manslaughter of Louise Jenson. They will now seek a sentence reduction, their lawyer announced last night.
