The blackmail bomber known as "Mardi Gra" struck again yesterday leaving two explosive devices near Sainsbury's stores.
One bomb exploded close to a store in Chislehurst, Kent and a second was unwittingly taken into a store in Lewisham by a woman who thought it was someone's shopping, but failed to detonate.
The two devices, both hidden inside video cassette boxes, are believed to be the work of the Mardi Gra bomber who left three bombs near Sainsbury's stores earlier this month.
It is understood the design of the explosives and method of deployment was the same as previous attacks by the Mardi Gra bomber who began terrorising Barclays Bank in 1994.
