Suspect surgeon dies

Surgeon David Baumber, who was being investigated following the deaths of two of his patients, has died of cancer. Forty women patients of Bury Healthcare NHS Trust in Lancashire were asked to return to hospital for breast examinations amid concern over the post-operative care of two patients who later died.
