Swoops in AmEx scam net 32 arrests

Four people have been arrested in London in connection with an alleged $2m racket at American Express which investigators in the United States believe was linked to a Nigerian international crime ring. In total, 32 people were arrested, most in America.

US investigators suspect two employees were tapping into the company's computer system and giving information about customers to accomplices in the US, Canada and Britain. Jill Treanor
