The director of music at a leading public school has been charged with possessing indecent photographs of children. Adrian Stark, 33, a senior teacher at St John's School, Leatherhead, Surrey, was arrested by police on Wednesday and suspended from his post by governors on the same day.
A Surrey Police spokesman said officers had searched a property in the grounds of the school and had "seized a quantity of obscene material". Mr Stark, who was named in a statement authorised by school governors, has been a teacher at the St John's since 1995.
