THE GOVERNMENT has done nothing to change the law that prevents the monarch from marrying a Roman Catholic, Sir Michael Forsyth, the Conservative former Scottish Secretary, claimed in a speech to the Institute for Economic Affairs.

He accused the Government of doing nothing to tackle the British constitution's "grubby little secret".
