Luke Donald has become the first man to top the European and US money lists in the same season after finishing third at the Dubai World Championship. The world No 1 earned £4.19m on the US circuit and £3.63m on the European Tour. MORE

Ben Ainslie was disqualified from two Finn races at the World Championships for confronting a media boat that was impeding his race. "I overreacted to what I thought was a situation where I felt my performance was being severely hindered," he said.
