Tube chiefs urge staff not to strike
London Underground yesterday wrote to its workers urging them to vote against strikes over pay and warning that industrial action will have a serious impact on the country's economy.
The company's 7,000 drivers and station staff are being balloted on whether to launch a series of one-day strikes over a 3 per cent wage offer.
