THE publishers of Yachting World, IPC Magazines, lodged an appeal against a pounds 1.5m libel damages award made earlier this month after it criticised a boatbuilder, John Walker, and his revolutionary trimaran. A High Court jury found that reports on the solar-powered boat threatened to ruin his business.
